My husband has primary Liver Cancer. He was on a transplant list and was recently taken off because the one tumor that was removed last July came back with several more. He was on the transplant list for 10 months and a liver never became available and it made me aware of just how hard it is to get organs. Now he is having chemoembolization done which was successful. And we are told he has a year too two years. We are hopeful it will be the longer.

We have been married 14 years this Sept. it is a second marriage for both of us. My husband is my best friend. We talk all the time. I can't wait to get home to tell him things and he is the same way. I think it was fate that we  found each other. We were both getting out of bad relationships at the same time. We have 5 grown children between us. We love to travel and have a timeshare in Aruba. We had all kinds of great plans for when we retired. That is what makes me so sad, that we won't be able to have that time together. I feel that we have been  screwed in that department. My first marriage wasn't very good and I finally find the right guy and now this. But I am very grateful for the years we did have and all the traveling we did do. I just wanted a little more.
