Many kinds of cancers may have only vague symptoms in their early stages, often and understandably attributed by the patients-to-be, family members, friends and doctors, to common medical problems such as tiredness, depression, infections, growth pains (in young people), and harmless skin rashes. In some cases it takes a medical emergency before cancer is diagnosed.
