Hi Lacey,  I know it's hard.  My dad passed away on Christmas Eve several years ago from a sudden heart attack, right after the family party.  Christmas hasn't been the same since for me.

Hi Lacy,  Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom passing away!  I'm sure you are still reeling from it happening so quickly.  My prayers to you and your family!  And your brother just got married last weekend too?  I don't even know what to say, I'm sure your mom was with you all in spirit, her body just wouldn't hold out any more.  Big hug, and I'll keep you in my prayers!

Hi again! DJ was on Remicade but it stopped working for him. Now he's on Humira. He was on 6MP before but it got to toxic levels for him and he started getting jaundiced and they made him stop taking it. I've noticed that Crohn's is tricky and you have to change meds frequently because they just stop working. Have you tried the wearecrohns.org site (run by the same group). It's really a good one, very active!

Hi Lacey, Nice to meet you! My son has Crohn's too, he's 17 and has had it for 2 years. He just had a pre-cancerous melanoma removed from his back. Have you or your boyfriend gotten any cancers? I read about your mom and I'm sorry to hear. What meds are you on for your Crohn's? DJ is on Humira, Pentasa, Prevacid and Elavil. He's been on lots of other meds too, and I hope none of them contributed to his pre-cancerous mole.
